What to look for in palm leaf plates and tableware
- Shape. Round, square, oval, rectangular or heart-shaped, or a divided plate with compartments: the Rectangular Palm Leaf Thali Plates and the 7-Compartment Palm Leaf Plates. Go by what each page lists: the Rectangle Palm Leaf Plates & Platters page lists sushi, tapas and canapé selections, the heart-shaped page wedding cake slices, and the two thali pages curry and rice.
- Size. Round plates come in 15, 18, 20, 25 and 30cm, plus a 30cm shallow pizza plate; square in 7.5, 11, 16 and 20cm; rectangle in 9 x 6, 16 x 11 and 25 x 15cm; the Oval Palm Leaf Plates in 26 x 16cm; heart-shaped in 10cm and 18cm. The thali plates are 35 x 25cm (rectangular) and 30cm across (7 compartments). Other sizes appear on each product's variant list when they are in stock.
- Plate, bowl or platter. The Round Palm Leaf Bowls page lists sauces and curries, salads and rice dishes. The Large Rectangle Palm Leaf Platters (35 x 25cm) page lists party platters and buffets.
- Hot or wet food. Each page states its own rating. The Round Palm Leaf Plates page lists hot main courses and says temperature resistant from -20°C to 150°C; the Square Palm Leaf Plates page lists hot foods up to 150°C. The oval and rectangle plate pages say heat resistant up to 150°C, and the Large Oval and Large Rectangle platter pages say temperature resistant from -20°C to 150°C. All six pages list their product as liquid and oil resistant.

What sizes do palm leaf plates come in?
Square from 7.5cm to 20cm, round from 15cm to 30cm, rectangle from 9 x 6cm to 25 x 15cm, oval 26 x 16cm and heart-shaped 10cm or 18cm. The Rectangular Palm Leaf Thali Plates are 35 x 25cm and the 7-Compartment Palm Leaf Plates 30cm across.
Do you sell palm leaf platters?

Are palm leaf plates reusable?
Four of ours are sold as disposable by name: the Round, Square and Oval Palm Leaf Plates have 'Disposable Plates' in their product titles, and the Rectangle Palm Leaf Plates & Platters 'Disposable Tableware'. For after use, each of those four pages says the plates are fully compostable and 100% biodegradable.
