Our bamboo plates and bowls are palm leaf style, made from fallen areca palm leaves. Choose by shape, then size: Round Bamboo Plates run from 15cm to 30cm, Square Bamboo Plates from 7.5cm to 25cm, and Round Bamboo Bowls from 7cm to 30cm.

What to look for in bamboo plates
- Shape and size. The Round Bamboo Plates come in 15cm, 18cm, 20cm, 25cm and 30cm, plus a 30cm shallow pizza plate. The Square Bamboo Plates come in 7.5cm, 11cm, 16cm, 20cm and 25cm, and the Rectangle Bamboo Plates & Platters 9-25cm in 9 x 6cm, 16 x 11cm and 25 x 15cm. The Oval Bamboo Plates are 26 x 16cm, the Heart-Shaped Bamboo Plates & Bowls 10cm and 18cm, and the Rectangular Bamboo Thali Plates 35 x 25cm with compartments. Other sizes appear on each product's variant list when they are in stock.
- Plates, bowls and platters. The Round Bamboo Bowls 7-30cm come in eight sizes from 7cm to 30cm; the 11cm and 14cm are listed as deeper bowls. For small portions, the Small Bamboo Dishes & Bowls 8cm hold 60ml and their page lists dips; the Egg-Shaped Bamboo Dishes are 8 x 6cm and 2cm deep. Larger platters include the Large Oval Bamboo Platters (34 x 23cm and 41.5 x 27.5cm), the Large Rectangle Bamboo Platters (35 x 25cm) and the Extra Large Oval Bamboo Platters (55 x 30cm).
- Hot or saucy food. Each page gives its own rating. The Round Bamboo Plates page lists them as temperature resistant from -20°C to 150°C; the Square and Rectangle pages say heat resistant up to 150°C. The round bowls page says heat resistant up to 150°C and microwave and refrigerator safe, and lists hot foods, sauces and curries. All four pages list them as liquid and oil resistant.
- Pack size and cost per 100. The plates, bowls and dishes come in packs of 25, 50, 100, 500 and 1,000; the thali plates and the large platters in 10, 20, 50, 100 and 500. The table gives the 100-piece price for each linked range, smallest size to largest.

Are these plates disposable?
The Round Bamboo Plates, Square Bamboo Plates, Oval Bamboo Plates and Rectangle Bamboo Plates & Platters are sold as disposable: each of their product titles says so. After use, the Round, Square and Rectangle Bamboo Plates pages each say fully compostable, and the Round Bamboo Bowls page says compostable.
Do you have bowls as well as plates?
